HEIDENHAIN ECN1313 Shaft diameter : 9mm (IP40 Protection)

The encoder ECN 1313 is an absolute-type encoder with EnDat interface. It is a bidirectional digital communication interface, able to read and update the information contained in the encoder.

HEIDENHAIN`s ECN rotary encoders have an integral bearing and a mounted stator coupling. The encoder shaft is connected directly to the measured shaft. During angular acceleration of the shaft the stator coupling must absorb only that torque resulting from friction in the bearing. ECN rotary encoders therefore display high dynamic performance and high natural frequencies.
