This HEIDENHAIN ULS 300C ML 220mm Linear encoder type scale is fully sealed for water environment, distance coded for a measuring length of 220mm Max. The HEIDENHAIN linear encoder ULS300/ULS300C operates on the principle of photoelectric scanning of a DIADUR grating in transmitted light. When moving the scale relative to the scanning reticle, solar cells generate 2 sinusoidal signals, phase shifted by 90°, and one reference signal.
When mounting the HEIDENHAIN ULS 300C/0020 ML 220mm, make sure to remove the transport protection screw dedicated only for shipment purposes.
